Job summary

Barminco Mining Services USA LLC is seeking an Underground Mining Utility Operator for an on-site role near Elko, Nevada. You will support underground development, perform pre-start checks, operate services for drives and production, and maintain equipment in a safety-focused environment.

This 14-on/14-off rotation includes camp and meals; emphasis on HS&E compliance, teamwork, and reliable communication with the shift supervisor and trades.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalence required.
• At least 1 year of underground mining experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Strong radio etiquette and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with HS&E policies and use safety devices and PPE; report hazards and incidents.
• Follow Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.
• Perform pre-start checks and SWICs; inspect equipment prior to use.
• Ensure tools and equipment are safe and serviceable; reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with underground shift supervisor to maintain safe, efficient work.
• Work with trades and non-trades on tasks around the mine as directed.
