Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support construction and maintenance of underground electrical distribution systems. You will assist the crew, help install facilities and conductors, and participate in preventative equipment maintenance.

This role involves working outdoors in varying weather, going on outages or on-call rotations, and lifting heavy materials. A valid license is required with CDL obtainable within 60 days, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in constructing, maintaining, and repairing underground distribution systems.
• Help install underground facilities, conductors, and related hardware.
• Maintain excavation equipment such as backhoes, trenchers, and excavators.
• Work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and during outages or emergencies.

Skills

Valid driver’s license
