Barminco, a global mining services provider, seeks an Underground Mining Utility Operator near Elko, NV. The role involves supporting underground development and production, with a 14-days on/14-days off rotation and camp accommodations provided.

Responsibilities include safety-compliant operations, pre-start checks, and collaboration with the shift supervisor to maximize efficiency while maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in the Underground Mining Industry.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Strong radio etiquette and communications skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Comply with HS&E policies and use protective equipment properly.
• Follow Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations and report hazards or injuries.
• Perform pre-start checks and inspections of equipment.
• Maintain equipment and tools in safe condition.
• Collaborate with underground shift supervisor and other teams.
