Job summary

Barminco Mining Services USA Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance General Supervisor / Maintenance Foreman to lead electrical crews at a project location 65 miles outside of Elko, Nevada.

The role reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and focuses on safe, efficient electrical services and compliance with US standards. Responsibilities include developing electrical systems, cost reviews, and collaborating with the technology team to implement new electrical advances within a

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years as an Underground electrician with 5 years in a Supervisory role.
Knowledge of US standards for underground mining electrical systems.
Knowledge of electrical management systems development/maintenance.
High school diploma or GED; degree or certification in electrical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop electrical crews to perform effectively.
Support safety system implementation for electrical function.
Establish and maintain electrical licenses for Barminco US operations.
Develop and maintain electrical systems to comply with US standards and legislation.
Assist with tender development and cost reviews.
Collaborate with technology teams to adopt new electrical tech.
Ensure compliance with Acts, Regulations, and client policies.
Provide coaching and mentoring to site team members.
