Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a safety-focused Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground electrical distribution systems. The role involves working on energized lines, traveling to different job sites, and reporting to the General Foreman.

Emphasis on safety, training lower classifications, and ensuring project quality. Ideal candidates have at least five years of underground line experience, hold a CDL, and are willing to travel and work extended hours, including outages

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work outside normal hours, including weekends, holidays, emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of underground distribution systems.
• Oversee project quality and completion deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot faults.
• Perform live-line work using PPE and insulated testing equipment.
• Coordinate with safety protocols and protective measures.
