Job summary

Pike Electric is seeking a safety‑conscious Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground electrical distribution systems. This role involves frequent travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, and reporting to the General Foreman.

Responsibilities include leading safety briefings, coaching junior workers, overseeing project quality and deadlines, and performing live line work with proper PPE and gear. Strong commitment to safety required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform new construction and maintenance on underground distribution systems.
• Oversee project work and ensure quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors.
• Perform live line work with PPE and insulated testing equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE procedures.
