Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a safety‑minded Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground electrical distribution systems. Travel to multiple job sites, including out‑of‑state locations, may be required to meet customer needs.

Reports to the General Foreman and must maintain high safety and quality standards. The role involves coaching junior staff, coordinating live‑line work with PPE, operating excavation equipment, and ensuring timely project completion under demanding

Qualifications

Five (5) years of underground line experience.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

Lead crew members and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of energized and underground distribution systems.
Oversee project quality and completion deadlines.
Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot faults.
Operate excavation and pulling equipment; use proper PPE for live-line work.
Follow safety protocols and insulate/test equipment as required.
