Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground distribution systems, including energized lines. The role emphasizes safety and requires travel to various job sites, reporting to the General Foreman.

You will supervise crews, train junior staff, and perform live-line work using PPE. The position involves managing project quality, deadlines, and conditions across different sites with potential out-of-state assignments.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized underground distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Coach and train lower classification employees in safe procedures.
• Oversee project work, ensuring quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot and locate faults.
