Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead crews in constructing and repairing underground electrical distribution systems, on energized and de-energized lines, with travel to different job sites as needed.

You will coach junior workers, ensure quality and deadlines, perform live-line work with PPE, and follow safety protocols. The role requires CDL, five years underground experience, and willingness to work irregular hours and overtime.

Qualifikationen

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Aufgaben

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of underground distribution systems with safety as a priority.
• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Coach and train lower classification employees in safe work procedures.
• Oversee project work and ensure quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot faults."
• Understand switching and tagging procedures, grounding and induced voltage on energized and de-energized lines with proper tools.
• Perform live-line work using PPE and insulated sticks."
• Follow all safety protocols including PPE and insulation precautions.
