Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a General Foreman for leading multiple crews in constructing and repairing energized and de-energized underground distribution systems. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery, with travel to various job sites as required and reporting to the Area Supervisor.

The ideal candidate brings extensive field experience, strong leadership and crew-management skills, and a commitment to safety training and documentation.

Qualifications

• Ten years of recent field experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple crews on underground distribution projects with safety first.
• Verify foremen lead crews and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Develop safe, efficient work plans for multiple crews.
• Ensure project quality and on-time completion.
• Maintain PPE compliance and understanding of insulation safety practices.
• Train and mentor foremen and crew members in technical and safety leadership.
• Manage equipment, vehicles, and tool maintenance.
• Complete required paperwork and client communication.
