Job summary

Pike Corporation in the United States seeks a safety‑minded Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground electric distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, as operations require.

As the Foreman, you will coach junior workers, conduct safety briefings, oversee project quality and deadlines, and ensure compliance with switching, tagging, grounding, and PPE procedures.

Qualifications

• Five years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours and out-of-state assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew to construct, maintain, and repair underground distribution systems safely.
• Conduct pre-job safety briefings and coach junior workers.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and troubleshoot faults.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding procedures and PPE rules.
• Operate excavation equipment as needed and perform live-line work.
