Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services is seeking an Apprentice Lineperson to join the Underground Distribution Construction Department in Conway, AR. The role involves assisting with installation and maintenance of underground power lines and performing construction tasks in varied environments.

Responsibilities include operating excavation and lifting equipment, communicating with property owners, and following regional safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Able to safely enter and exit excavations and work in varied weather conditions.
• Endurance for 8–10 hour days with overtime, holidays, or emergency calls.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willing to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for excavation, backfilling, lifting and other construction tasks.
• Assist with installation, operation, maintenance and repair of underground electrical lines.
• Respond to service calls for outages and electrical issues.
• Work in areas with traffic, noise, and hazardous equipment while following safety policies.
