Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services is hiring a Journeyperson Lineperson for its Underground Distribution Construction Department in Conway, AR. The role involves operating excavation and conduit tools, installing and maintaining underground power lines, and assisting with service calls for outages.

You will work in varied environments, adhere to safety policies, and communicate with property owners regarding work plans.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely enter and exit excavations.
• Must have endurance for long workdays (8–10 hours).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Must have a valid driver's license; CDL preferred or willing to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for digging, lifting and other tasks.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of underground power lines.
• Respond to service calls for outages and electrical issues.
• Communicate with property owners about planned work.
• Wear PPE and follow safety policies at all times.
