Traylor Bros., Inc. is seeking a Cost Engineer to support the project team with budgets, forecasting and cost control. You will work on the project site under the Project Controls Manager, applying strong analytical skills and teamwork to deliver accurate cost reporting and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities include budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, and supplier negotiations, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to project audits and close-out efforts.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or equivalent is required.
• 3-4 years of construction experience is required.
• Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of contracts and contract language.
• Ability to identify, prioritize and mitigate project risk.
• Proficient with MS Office and SharePoint.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; team oriented.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain project budgets, and update budgets for changes.
• Support cost tracking, reporting and forecasting with weekly quantity checks.
• Assist in change order management and negotiation for additional work.
• Assist with monthly project cost forecasting and audits.
• Participate in subcontractor and material supplier analysis and negotiations.
• Provide supervision or training to junior staff as needed.
• Assist in project close-out and maintaining customer relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
