Job summary

AMD invites undergrad or PhD students to join its intern/co-op program across multiple US sites, including Boxborough, MA. You will support Product Development Engineers in characterization and testing, performing data and statistical analyses to help initiate production ramp.

You’ll learn to build production test programs and maintain related documentation while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and optimize yield and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university in an undergraduate degree program (CS/CE/EE or related).
• Interest in product development, engineering analysis and test programs.
• Familiarity with programming, data analysis, and debugging concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and build production test programs.
• Perform engineering and correlation studies to aid yield, coverage and ramp.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documents and test scripts for next‑gen AMD processors.
• Participate in product debug and characterization for performance and test sensitivities.
