Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) seeks a motivated Product Development engineering intern/co-op to join our team. You will assist in characterization and in building production test programs, gaining hands-on experience with parametric and data analysis.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure yield, coverage and target ramp goals, while building technical documents and debugging test software for upcoming AMD processors.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a US-based university in an undergrad degree (CS, CE, EE or related).
• Strong interest in product development and manufacturing data analysis.
• Willingness to learn agile methods and software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and in building production test programs.
• Perform engineering and correlation studies to meet yield and target goals for ramp.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
• Build and maintain technical docs, and debug test programs for next‑gen AMD processors.
• Participate in product debug and characterization to identify performance and test sensitivities.
