Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated Product Development engineering intern/co-op to join our team. You will assist Product Development Engineers in characterization and build production test programs through parametric, data and statistical analysis.

Training will cover engineering studies to ensure yield, coverage and ramp to production, while collaborating with multifunctional teams to resolve issues and boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university in an undergraduate CS/CE/EE program.
• Knowledge of C++, Linux, and scripting languages.
• Willing to work 40 hours per week in hybrid or onsite settings.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and build production test programs via parametric, data, and statistical analysis.
• Perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage and ramp to production.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
• Build and maintain technical documents, debug manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-gen AMD processors.
• Participate in product debug and characterization to identify performance, process, and test sensitivities.
