Job summary

AMD offers an internship/co-op program at multiple locations, including Fishkill, NY. Interns will work full-time (40 hours/week) in a hybrid or onsite structure, supporting product development engineers with characterization and test program creation.

Candidates are current undergraduates or PhD students with strength in CS/CE/EE and programming, debugging, and data analysis. The role provides hands-on experience, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to next-generation AMD

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university in an undergraduate degree program (CS/CE/EE or related).
• Knowledge of C++, Linux, scripting languages, and common development tools is desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks or Scrum practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Development Engineers in characterization and build production test programs.
• Perform engineering and correlation studies to support yield, coverage and ramp goals.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
• Help build and maintain technical documents; debug manufacturing and test programs.
• Participate in product debug to identify performance, process, and test sensitivities.
