Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) seeks a motivated Product Development engineering intern/co-op to join our team in California. You will assist characterization, build production test programs, and work on data-driven analyses to support yield and ramp readiness.

The role involves collaboration with multi-functional teams, documentation, and debugging of test programs for next-gen AMD microprocessors. Students must be enrolled in an accredited US university and be prepared for a hybrid/onsite work

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university in an undergraduate degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge or experience with C++, Linux, scripting languages, and software development processes is encouraged.
• Familiarity with test, characterization, and production ramp concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and build production test programs through parametric, data and statistical analysis.
• Assist in engineering and correlation studies to improve yield, coverage and ramp readiness.
• Contribute to documentation, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration for next-gen AMD microprocessors.
• Participate in product debug and characterization to identify performance, process, and test sensitivities.
