Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated Product Development engineering intern/co-op to join the team in a hands-on role. You will support characterization, build production test programs, and work on data-driven studies to enable production ramp for next‑gen AMD processors.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and help identify performance sensitivities while gaining real-world experience in a high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• US-based university student pursuing CS, CE, or EE.
• Knowledge or experience with listed languages and tools encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Development Engineers in characterization tasks.
• Build production test programs using parametric, data and statistics.
• Learn engineering and correlation studies for yield and ramp.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain technical docs; debug test programs for new CPUs.
• Participate in product debug to identify performance sensitivities.
