Job summary

Felician University is seeking an innovative, motivated professional to serve as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions. The role supports recruitment strategies to grow enrollment of freshmen and Educational Opportunity Fund students.

Responsibilities include evaluating credentials, interviewing applicants, organizing events, and building social media and online communications. Full-time, 12-month, Exempt position in Undergraduate Admissions.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ enrollment/admissions experience in higher education.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license; ability and willingness to travel.
• Excellent platform skills; proficient with computer databases and information systems.
• Well-developed organizational and time-management skills.
• Advanced interpersonal skills; ability to engage diverse groups.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to direct and supervise Student Ambassadors.
• Willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing recruitment strategies to increase enrollment of undergraduate freshmen and Educational Opportunity Fund students.
• Evaluate applicant credentials; interview prospective students.
• Organize and manage special admissions events.
• Engage in social media and develop online and mobile communications to reach prospective applicants.
