Job summary

Tufts Universitys Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks an Assistant Director to recruit and select first-year and transfer students and to meet enrollment objectives across the universitys schools.

The role includes evaluating applications, leading information sessions (in-person and virtual), serving as the on-campus contact for visitors, and coordinating recruitment events with travel throughout the year. The position operates in a hybrid modality with frequent campus presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in admissions or related field.
• Proficiency with CRM data management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Read and evaluate undergraduate applications individually or in teams.
• Conduct in-person and virtual information sessions for prospective students and counselors.
• Serve as on-campus point-of-contact for visitors and communicate with stakeholders.
• Manage project-based work in support of portfolios such as communications, data analysis, outreach, recruitment, events.
• Participate in recruitment initiatives, including college fairs and high school visits.
• Travel as required; a valid U.S. drivers license and willingness to drive to various locations.
