Job summary

The Eller College of Management's Undergraduate Programs Office at the University of Arizona is seeking an Academic Advisor I to support students across Main, Online, and Global campuses. The role includes advising on degree requirements, course selection, and experiential learning opportunities, plus programming and teaching responsibilities.

Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree and have at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning required.
• 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: previous academic advising or higher education experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise Eller students on academic requirements across Main, Online, and Global campuses.
• Assist with educational plans, course selection, course equivalencies, and exploring majors/minors/career options.
• Participate in orientation programs for incoming students.
• Evaluate petitions, monitor progress, maintain student records, and evaluate transfer credit for domestic and international students.
• Lead workshops, advise organizations, and/or teach courses to promote engagement and degree completion.
• Support student learning opportunities and provide guidance on academic, career, and global opportunities.
