Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking an Undercarriage Customer Support Representative to measure wear on the undercarriage of steel tracked equipment and log data in CTS Pro. You will visit customer sites, ensure safety guidelines are followed and secure machines for measurement.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical aptitude, can read service material instructions, operate a forklift, and communicate clearly with customers. High school or equivalent required, with prior shop experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a shop setting (auto/truck/heavy equipment/rental).
• Read and follow service material instructions or quotes.
• Work safely with caustic chemicals/materials.
• Occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Able to operate machinery and a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers to arrange for measurement
• Visit customer site and follow safety guidelines
• Secure machine to complete undercarriage
• Measure all components
• Load measurements into CTS Pro
• Inform customer of undercarriage status
• Report findings to appropriate PSSR
• Write service reports once jobs are completed
• Keep work area clean throughout process
• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
• Additional duties as assigned by manager
