Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass state-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
• Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Must have one or more of: military service, auxiliary police, or 1+ year supervisory experience; an associate’s degree or higher.
• Be at least 18 years old, or 21 if armed.
• Be able to operate radio or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.

Responsibilities

• Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training).
• Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met.
• Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS.
• Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance.
• Perform other operations and related functions (payroll, incident reports, security surveys, post orders).
• Make recommendations for personnel actions for those under supervision.
• Respond to client requests and make emergency notifications as necessary.
• Provide direction to subordinates regarding duties.
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions Pertaining to security personnel.
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders.
• Make disciplinary action/commendation recommendations.
