Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed to oversee security at a high-profile client facility. You will supervise a team, ensure safety, enforce policies, and maintain post orders while coordinating with site leadership.

The role requires security supervisory experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to train and motivate officers. A valid driver’s license and state licensing compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Current and valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum of one year verifiable security experience.
• Two years of verifiable work experience demonstrating customer service and composure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to coach, mentor, and motivate staff.
• Ability to assess situations and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates on duties.
• Cross-train officers to increase versatility and site efficiency.
• Recommend productivity and cost reduction measures to management.
• Suggest updates to security surveys and post orders.
• Recommend personnel actions for staff under supervision.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for the shift.
• Ensure required training and screening for personnel are met.
• Minimize overtime per contract and company policy.
• Inspect staff performance to ensure service quality and contract compliance.
• Assist in payroll and incident reporting, and security surveys.
