Allied Universal in Chantilly, VA seeks an Unarmed Patrol Officer to provide security and customer service at a technology, media, or telecommunications location. Conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while upholding site policies and safety.

This full-time role pays $21.00 per hour with a night schedule, and requires at least 1 year of security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures; document and report access-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
