Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Technology in Sterling, VA. You will monitor and patrol at a technology and telecommunications location, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining security procedures.

Qualifications include 1+ year security experience, HS diploma or equivalent, background check, and a valid guard card/license if applicable. Position is full-time with a competitive hourly pay rate.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology/location site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and entry procedures with logs and reports.
• Communicate with site personnel and leadership regarding observations and needs.
