Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, data center areas, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements; report suspicious activity, damaged property, and maintenance concerns.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting continuity of operations.
