Job summary

Allied Universal in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Monitoring. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities.

You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while collaborating with Allied Universal’s team. Position Type: Full Time; Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and direct individuals to proper locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, documenting observations and notifying personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
