Job summary

Allied Universal in Goleta, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will patrol assigned areas, support access control, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication.

The role is full-time with a shift pattern and pays $23.50 per hour. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
