Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) in Houston, TX. You will safeguard client sites, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures.

The position requires 2+ years of security-related experience and at least 1 year in armed security/law enforcement/military, with a night schedule Tue–Sat from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM. A valid guard card or license and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required; licensing may apply.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors per site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to post orders.
• Document observations and incidents in clear reports and inform leadership.
