Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Houston, TX. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role offers flexible scheduling via our platform, requires at least two years in security, and may include CPR/First Aid certification. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licesing requirements may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the facility to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with controlled entry, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Complete reports and communicate clearly with site contacts and clients.
