Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time, unarmed patrol in NEW YORK, NY. You will provide professional customer service, monitor access, and deter security incidents while supporting site operations.

Responsibilities include conducting patrols of tow pound areas, maintaining logs, and reporting incidents. Requires at least 1 year in security and a high school diploma or equivalent; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, vehicle operators, employees, and agency personnel per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of tow pound areas, lots, entry/exit points, and exterior areas.
• Monitor activity, verify access, maintain logs, report suspicious activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with law enforcement or site contacts when needed.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations to leadership.
