Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include: valid New York State Security Guard License; at least 1 year of security-related experience; 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed); background check and drug screen as required by law; valid driver’s license for driving positions if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and individuals receiving services while following site procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances and verify authorized entry; report unusual conditions and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies calmly and use de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports; communicate with site leadership and supervision.
