Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) for a patrol site in NEW YORK, NY. You will monitor, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to clients and staff in a government services location.

Qualifications

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law; drug screen per policy.
• License requirements vary by state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and agency personnel by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner per established protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations to supervisors.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to site representatives.
