Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed CPR patrol in Coopersburg, PA, serving technology, media, and telecom clients. You will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Paid CPR certification training is provided, with schedule details communicated after offer acceptance.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.
