Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) in Imperial, PA to safeguard clients in technology, media, and telecom settings. You will monitor, patrol, deter incidents, and support access control while providing customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures; verify credentials as directed by site policy and report irregularities.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
