Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol) in Sunnyvale, TX. The role involves patrolling retail locations, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, and supporting loss-prevention efforts to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents calmly, preparing incident reports, and delivering excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and employees. Minimum 1 year of security experience is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail floor, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events following site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear incident reports and daily activity documentation.
