Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
