Job summary

Allied Universal in Richardson, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid Support. You will monitor office spaces, respond to incidents, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors while upholding safety procedures.

This role requires 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. The position offers day and night shifts with training and benefits as part of Allied Universal’s people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and contractors when necessary.
• Be proficient with a computer or tablet for reports and logging.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial services office by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior office areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, following site procedures for entry, credentials, and incident reporting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
