Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, documenting observations, patrols, and actions taken.
