Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol operations in Cary, NC. You will provide security coverage for a public education location, maintaining a visible presence and delivering friendly, professional service to students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner following procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors and reporting suspicious activity.
• Complete incident reports and communicate information to site leadership.
