Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Support) for Imperial, PA. You will conduct patrols, deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

Earn $18.75 per hour with a flexible schedule and the ability to claim shifts through our platform. Responsibilities include routine interior/exterior patrols, access management, incident reporting, and maintaining professional logs during

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• background check required by law.
• drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management, credential checks, and reporting of unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and requests for assistance to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
