Responsibilities include conducting patrols, verifying credentials, documenting activity, and responding to alarms or incidents with calm professionalism.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and guests while following site procedures.
• Communicate professionally and report security-related concerns clearly and promptly.
• Maintain situational awareness through patrols and monitoring of access points.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, and shift details accurately.
• Adhere to licensing requirements and background/drug screening policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a media and publishing location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office floors, common areas, entrances, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and shift activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Communicate professionally with client representatives, building personnel, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related concerns, incidents, and operational updates.
