Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, staff and others per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, entrances, grounds and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, reporting concerns as directed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and maintain logs.
