Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Credential Validation in San Jose, CA to serve and safeguard clients across various industries at a commercial real estate location. The role involves unarmed patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

You will monitor assigned areas, respond to security concerns in a calm, professional manner, and document incidents and daily logs for leadership review.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management staff while following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, reporting and escalation framework.
• Conduct regular patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor and document access activity, visitor and contractor arrivals and deliveries per site rules.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.
