Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in SUN VALLEY, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients in a logistics and distribution environment, providing a visible security presence to deter incidents and support access control.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor entry points, assist visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to site policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in security-related field.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State/city-issued security license preferred.
• Comfort using computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal considers applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where applicable.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking lots, entry points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Observe and report hazards, property damage, suspicious activity, and policy violations with accurate reports.
