Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in San Diego, CA. This full-time, unarmed role involves patrolling a logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence, delivering customer service, and following site procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting incidents, and supporting safe site operations. Minimum 6 months security experience; Guard Card preferred; CPR preferred; must be 18+ for unarmed work.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report all required information.
• Observe shipping/receiving operations and report security concerns.
