Job summary

Allied Universal in SUN VALLEY, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification. You will monitor a busy logistics site, deter incidents, enforce access control, and provide professional service to employees and visitors.

Shifts include daytime and overnight hours with a pay rate of $18.80 per hour. Minimum requirements include security experience, valid licenses, computer literacy, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Unarmed roles require 18+, armed roles 21+.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, yards, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged property, or policy violations.
